I'm not trying to do this for the points LOL I signed up on gamefly today since the two big ones got new gameboys for Christmas. They "think" They need every game made for them. So I figured this might be a better deal. For $20 a month you can rent as many as you want at 2 at a time (If you go through this link It's only $9 for the month). I figured I"d give it a try. This way I'm not out much money when they get sick of playing a certain game and they will constantly have new ones to play!

Long time no blog....
We've been dealing with virus after virus in this house between the 4 boys, then we had Christmas with family, then New Years. Hopefully life will calm for a bit now :)
I hope everyone had a very happy holiday season this year!
Life is still fun in our household.
From the mouth of my 5 year old while playing the game "sorry" with the two big boys. I sent my husband back to his "start" area, and he looked at me and said "I know where you sleep!" just kidding around. Within not even 2 seconds, my 5 year old looked up and said "Yeah, right next to you!" and went on playing the game. I have NO clue how he is this quick, but this kid is funny LOL
We live on a base where there are B-2 Airplanes and he has it in his head as well that he is the one to clean them. If we drive by the flightline and see one sitting out, he will seriously getting upset saying that someone left his B-2 out and now he's going to have to spend all night washing it to get it ready for tomorrow. The child has quite the imagination. It makes me wonder what he'll be when he grows up!
Anybody else have any kids with big imaginations? Share some funny stories :)

The boys went to see Santa this weekend and I was impressed that they ALL smiled at the camera and looked in the same direction LOL Here's the picture. now if I can only be this lucky EVERY year! *LOL*

Off in La La Land......
Do you ever wonder why you have the life you have? Why were you given the certain children you were given? I do....I know I can't be alone out there, can I? LOL Not that I think there is anything wrong with my children, because I don't. And I cannot imagine my life without any one of them. They all bring a part to this family that I don't feel would be whole without them.
But I do wonder why we couldn't have a daughter. Our last two "tries" were for a girl. I read on the internet all the tricks to "conceive" a daughter, yet ours failed. I wonder all of the time what raising a daughter would be like. To finally have someone like me in the family. I sit here right now and watch the 5 yr old and 2 year old wrestling in the living room, the 8 year old is trying to be a referee and the baby is watching them like they are insane *LOL* What would a little girl be doing in this situation? My luck is that I would have had a tomboy (like me LOL) and she probably would be right in the middle of it winning. I see all of these families around me who have atleast one of each, and I wonder why they were able to, but I wasn't. People still ask me all of the time if we're going to go for that girl still, to which I reply no. Four boys is plenty LOL If money wasn't an object I'd have 10 kids, but this day in age it's very hard the more kids you have! With all of the sports, clothing, then college, etc.

All I want for christmas....
You ever notice how the lists for the kids get longer and longer each year that passes by. And as they get older, the prices of the things they want also go up quite a bit? My 8 year old is notorious for picking the most expensive items possible when it comes to what he wants. If only money grew on trees, we'd all be set, huh?
Welcome to my world
I'm just getting started in the blogworld. I had one for my last pregnancy, the newest and greatest of the males in my life, but now I figured I'd add one to recap all of the daily happenings in our household. Let me tell you, being a mom to four boys, is not a boring life. If you've been one of those lucky enough to experience both boys and girls, then enjoy it. Our last two were our tries for a daughter, and we got more boys *LOL* Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trade them for the world! Our kids have somehow gotten more and more personality as we have them, so we better stop now while we are still in control, huh?
First we have Kaseman, he's 8. He's a pretty good kid, good in school, loves sports, poor guy is the guinea pig for parenting though. (If you are the oldest in a group of siblings, you probably know exactly what I'm talking about.) Don't get me wrong, he doesn't have a hard life by any means. It's just been a learning experience at every age for all of us!
Next we have Bug. He's 5 and has more personality than anyone I know. He also has no impulse control, but we're working on that.
Third we have Codiak. He's 2 1/2 and quite a character. He's our little fighter as he was born with a genetic disorder called Neurofibromatosis. As of now he's a strong little kid. He does have a tumor on one of his optic nerves, and a few issues with delayed learning, but he's a tough little one. And VERY smart!
And finally we come to Max. Little man Max is 3 1/2 months old and is FINALLY the "mommy's boy" I wanted. The other three have always been "daddy's boys." I tell him daily that he better not switch on me! *LOL*
As you can see, we have stairsteps for kids LOL My day usually starts bright and early and ends fairly late. I hope you'll enjoy this blog as I've always wanted somewhere to share some of the insanity I call my life.
